Determination – The Rare Gene

​Ever wanted something but thought it’s not what you can get. Whether its that expensive car, that luxury home, that position , that role, that amount of money, that goal, that perfect body shape you want to have or that style of life, anything or everything that you desire , and when i say ANYTHING or . EVERYTHING ,I literally mean it , anything or everything that you desire can flow into your life if you just bring in this one word to your life — DETERMINATION.

I know a number of people will come across this blog and have a look, but I don’t know who all are going to be connected with it. It all depends upon your current situation, but if you are reading it and your neurons/brain cells are able to release the neurotransmitters with the same frequency with which I am writing this (please don’t mind my over science-ly jokes, lol), then you are surely getting filled with the most magical quality of life today.

Okay, so I am a person who likes to investigate on topics related to life most often. Just now, while I was going through this book(“Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hills), suddenly something clicked to my mind and that is the POWER OF DETERMINATION.

I mean , we all know that we need to be determined to achieve success and determination is a quality that we all must possess, yeah and we all have been listening , studying about these things since our childhood in our Moral Science Books.

But you know what, I just realised that the word is a MANTRA, I mean just if we can try to be determined , we are guaranteed to achieve whatever we want.

But one more thing I realised is its not easy to be determined.

I mean not everybody can be determined.

I mean sometimes we can and sometimes we can not. But then, if we are actually determined for something, that means we are serious about it and its our “burning desire”, otherwise wanting something without possessing determination for it is just making a WISH. And wishes , my friend, are very stupid geeky mathematical type of things which always have probability of occurrence of 1/10000000 or even less than that. So if you just want to try your luck for something to come into existence, its good you make a wish, but if you think its your need and you just want it any cost , you have to bring in determination into play.

Now: Desire is directly proportional to the probability of you getting that thing. The more desire you have , the more probability you have to get that thing.

But what i think is Determination is a boolean(boolean= can have only two values, true or false, sorry I am a techie, cant help with these jargons coming in), if its true, you have a burning desire for the thing, you will get it and if it is initialised as false or it becomes false at any point of time, you only wish for it.In simpler terms, as long as you have Determination for something, you will move closer to your goal with super sonic speed, as soon as your determination fades away, you pause at that moment.

Now the smarter way to analyse this thing is, if you already have determination for something and have moved towards your goal, dont let the determination fade away, because now you have already covered some considerable amount of distance between you and your goal. If the distance is less between you and your goal, time required will be less and you will cover it being determined in a small amount of time but then this is the case when you have set small or average goals. Remember, if your goal is big enough, the distance will also be large and the time might also increase up in this case to reach your goal. The problem comes here to the ones with bigger goals. You may tend to loose your patience while covering this distance and hence comes a point when you may loose the determination in you. This is what we call as QUITTING. 99 percent of the people quit before they reach their goals. I am talking about those who dare to set bigger goals for themselves but are not daring enough to complete the distance and hence quits in the midway.This is the only challenge you need to cross and success will come running towards you, mark my words here. But “not quitting” requires you to hold your determination even if it seems the goal is impossible, even if you can not see anything just darkness, even if you feel everthing is just falling out of place. These are the signs that you are almost there!

Remember, life is mischievous. It will try to play with you and try to lie you about your goals, it will literally yell out to you, “Hey you ! you are not gonna get it, you are not made for this, Go ! Live the way you have been living up till now” but once you have DETERMINATION=TRUE, you can play back with it and say, “Hey! This thing, this place, this position and this success is mine and I will get it anyway, you try what all you can try. I am a better player than you” and you know what, Life is a very kind hearted thing, though it appears hard outside. It will happily help you and push you forward once you show this Determined attitude to it.

Determination itself brings the right amount of hard work, smart work, time management and the right attitude in you. So you just have to call Determination , and its friends would automatically tag along 😛

If I go on and explain this word a bit more, determination is nothing but you change your attitude towards something and strive ceaselessly in direction of achieving or getting that.

So the conclusion: Just be Determined if you desire to achieve anything or everything, and how to invite determination ? well that comes from within and only you know how can you be determined, no book or blog or anybody can tell you. The world have got many big and beautiful things and you deserve all those. Just don’t pass by things and make it mere a wish, Be determined to have what you want. 🙂
